White As Snow

People have a tendency to want to place blame. It assuages our guilt if there is someone else at fault. We want to deflect any measure of responsibility.

That’s the beauty of mercy and grace. We don’t have to carry our burdens or blame others for our mistakes. We can humbly take them to Jesus and lay them at the foot of the cross.

Even if forgiveness never comes from the people in our lives, Jesus remembers them no more.

If there is a song written about you, placing blame at your feet – you can laugh. Forgiveness covers you like a warm blanket, and you can dance in the wonder of that freedom.

The shackles are gone. What an amazing God we serve.
