I am speechless! If you know me, then you know this is rare and possibly cause for alarm. However, this is a good thing! I just finished my first conference call with my Uganda team. It is an incredible group of people. They are talented, gifted, anxious to serve and looking to increase the Kingdom. We discussed our itinerary and introduced ourselves. It is so amazing to think that we will all spend eleven days together In. Africa. It is wonderful to hear these people talk about this trip and you just want to say; Yes! Me too! Same here. I think our hearts are in sync. I will be the oldest person on the trip (I think). It doesn’t bother me —usually, I forget that I am forty-something. Just today my own mother and I had to actually do the math to come to an agreement about my age! My grown kids are stuck on a particular age for me and seem to forget But I digress! I am looking forward to new friendships with like-minded people. That is a bonus to the opportunity to visit with the children of Uganda! I am making all of my plans and praying about this trip. Please pray with me. |
