A tidbit for today…

I think I need a weekend away – to do nothing other than research quotes. Yep! I’m a total geek. I love reading, marking passages, writing/journaling, finding quotes, reading, did I say reading!
Sadly, I don’t remember quotes (or much of anything these days)! I do however enjoy a really good quote! People are so darn smart. They say/write some good stuff. Therefore, I’m a quote collector. That’s probably not even a real thing. I’m okay with that too. Unique – I’ll just be a little unique.

I get a little bummed when I come across a quote that came from a book or other source that I should’ve picked up on. Makes me crazy. I also enjoy a good – I mean really awesome – advertisement. I get so pumped up when I see or hear a good one. Bart (hubby) just laughs at me because I get so excited about it. It is possible that the really good advertisement is a bit of a rarity.

It’s the little things people.

See what I mean?? ?

Im a quote collector too!!! Ralph Waldo Emerson us my favorite poet (hence emerys name)

-Make the most of yourself, for that is all there is of you.

-To laugh often and love much; to win the respect of intelligent persons and the affection of children; to earn the approbation of honest citizens and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to give of one’s self; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived—this is to have succeeded.
